| Abstract: | 二十一世紀初，台灣興起了陣陣文學熱潮，從諾貝爾文學獎得主高行健的來訪，到日本AV女優飯島愛來台為自傳《柏拉圖式戀愛》做宣傳，一時之間，「靈山」與「靈肉」話題不斷，以往乏人問津的高健行作品突然洛陽紙貴，令書商大嘆「書態炎涼」，而《柏拉圖式戀愛》的狂銷更是掀起了筆戰，女性主義團體直斥此一「歪風」，一般小市民則認為她的奮鬥歷程值得鼓勵；在如此沸沸揚揚的情境之中，不禁令人回想起二十世紀末華文文壇的一樁公案──衛慧《上海寶貝》被禁事件，此一事件透露出多項訊息，包刮創作出版的自由、作品的社會價值、行銷手法的爭議、難以抵擋的潮流等等，在在都值得我們關注，畢竟在新世紀的來臨之際，如何看待此一文學現象?又該如何順應或導正?這都是思考的課題。本文擬將《上海寶貝》一書做全面深入的探索與分析，包括衛慧其人其事、出版宣傳與被禁的始末、文本分析以及各方評價等，再據以歸結出海峽兩岸的文學態勢，作為二十一世紀初華文文學（尤其是大眾文學）的回顧與展望。
From the visit of Nobel Prize winner Gao Xingjian, to the book promotion of“Platonic Sex”─ the memoir of Japanese porn star Ai Ijima, literature has never been such a hot topic in Taiwan. Suddenly, the previously unnoticed books of Gao Xingjian jump on the best-selling list; the debate of “Soul Mountain” over “Soul Flesh”ensues. The popularity and booming sale of “Platonic Sex” provoke the feminist. On the other hand, the general public largely appreciates the positive transformation of a porn star into a career woman. In retrospect, the banning of Wei Huei's “Shanghai Babe” may provide some insights for the literati. At the dawn of the new century, how should we adapt or even re-direct the trend of popular literature? We will discuss the freedom of experession and publication, the social values of literary work, and the controversy of commercial promotion techniques. This article will analyze the book “Shanghai Babe”, author Wei Huei, and the promotion and banning incident of the book. To conclude, we like to present the literary trend from both sides of the strait (Taiwan and mainland China), as we look forward to Chinese literature (especially popular literature) at the beginning of the 21st century. |
