Abstract: 海藻多醣多醣類可由甲殼類或昆蟲外骨骼、植物、蕈類、酵母菌、黴菌或細菌之細胞壁獲得,再經熱水或酸鹼等方法,萃取到粗多醣體,這些多醣體結構會因為來源不同而有所差異。海藻多醣是藻類細胞壁的主成分,也是水性保濕成分、吸水保濕劑。藻類的多醣體(膠質)發展已有悠久的歷史,其中最常被運用的有紅藻的洋菜膠和褐藻的褐藻膠等物質,但都較局限於大型的藻類,直到近幾年來才有學者開始研究微藻多醣體並做為新的生理活性物質。海藻的成分,一般來說,褐藻的保濕效果最佳,綠藻具有促進細胞活性效果,紅藻具有抗污染、抗自由基功效,而由海藻生化發酵萃取的小分子物質,更是提高了海藻的身價。而海藻多醣應用在化妝品,最主要是抗自由基及有良好保濕效果。本次計畫研究主要重點,以海藻多醣液晶乳液為主要基材,檢測其海藻多醣液晶乳液抗菌抑菌效果,進一步評估其產業應用價值。
Seaweed polysaccharides of polysaccharides by crustaceans or insect exoskeletons, plants, mushrooms, yeasts, fungi or bacteria cell walls obtained via methods such as hot water or acid, extracted into crude polysaccharides, because of the structure of these polysaccharides source vary. Seaweed algae cell wall polysaccharides are the main ingredients, but also water-based moisturizing ingredients, absorbent moisturizer. Algae polysaccharides (gum) has a long history of development, of which the most commonly used are red algae agar and alginate of alginate and other substances, but are more limited to the large algae, until recent years have scholars began to study algae polysaccharides and as new physiologically active substances. Seaweed ingredients, in general, brown algae of the best moisturizing effect, effect of green algae with the promotion of cell activity, red algae with anti-pollution, anti-free radical effect, biological fermentation of algae extract by small molecules, but also increased algae worth. The seaweed polysaccharide used in cosmetics, the most important is a good anti-free radical and moisturizing effect. The main focus of this research project to liquid crystal emulsion with seaweed polysaccharides as the main substrate, liquid crystal emulsion seaweed polysaccharides detected antibacterial effect, to further assess their industrial application.
