本計畫「中國傳統山水中墨分五色技術作為建構東方式彩妝的可能」，是一個創新的研究領域，目的在結合臺灣彩妝造型史的理論與實務，以新觀念及新技術的創造，作進一步跨領域式協同教學策略的探討。 本計劃試圖將當前以西方繪畫為基礎的彩妝模式，轉變為以中國山水為基礎的彩妝模式。事實上以中國山水為基礎的彩妝模式由於可以透過墨分五色的技巧，使用單一墨色的濃淡深淺的調整，可以製造出現代彩妝所追求的陰影及漸層效果，因此本研究的目的即在於開發出以墨分五色為基礎的當代東方式彩妝。 但由於本計劃是這一項東方式彩妝技術的原創性研究，因此在本計劃當中並非馬上要以墨分五色技巧通盤地取代西方式彩妝，而是先追求兩種不同的彩妝技巧合諧並存的可能，也因此可以找到此種新技術和當前彩妝技巧對話的可能。 This project is about a whole new field which has never been investigated. Due to the make-up techniques nowadays in Taiwan which is based on western painting system, it is some kind of post-colonial phenomena which needs to be adjusted by oriental make-up system.Therefore this project will convert the traditional Chinese painting technique ”Mo Fen Wu Si”(墨分五色) into a modern practical make-up technique. However, due to the practical concern, we will not regard ”Mo Fen Wu Si” as the key to initiate a revolution against the western make-up system which is commonly used in make-up business today. On the contrary, we will use”Mo Fen Wu Si” as the supplementary skill which can benefit and enhances the effect of western make-up system.
