摘要: 本研究旨在探討規律有氧運動介入對台灣中老年人骨密度之影響。採立意取樣,29名居住在基隆市身心健康、無規律運動的45歲以上中老年人參與本研究,給予12週,每週3次、每次1小時、每分鐘心跳120次之中度強度之規律有氧運動介入措施,並採用超音波骨密度儀(CM 100)測量其右腳腳跟骨密度。所有資料皆以SPSSl0.0套裝軟體程式進行統計分析。各指標的組間差異以獨立樣本t-test及paired t-test檢驗,顯著水準定為百分之五(p<0.05)。
研究結果發現經過12週的規律運動介入後,中老年人的骨密度值明顯增加並呈現統計意義上的增加(p<0.05)。這顯示:規律運動可以增強中老年人之骨質,減緩骨質流失現象,防止其骨質不再繼續流失,在原發性骨質疏鬆症的治療上具有重大意義。
本研究結果可提供社區健康照護者研擬中老年人相關健康促進運動計畫之參考,期能藉由運動介入有效提升骨密度,有效減少老人的骨折發生率,增進其生活獨立性,擁有優質的老年生活品質。
The purpose of the study aims to explore the effect of an aerobic exercise intervention on the bone mineral density (BMD) in middle aged to older people in Taiwan. The study used purposive sampling. 29 voluntary participants aged 45 years or over, of good health and partaking in irregular exercise in Keelung City, Taiwan. Moderate aerobic exercise intervention 3 times per week for 12 weeks (60 minutes per session) with strengthening the weight-bearing sites (calcaneus) was taken. Subjects needed to maintain their regular daily diet and physical activity. The study used quantitative ultra sound (CM100) to examine the broadband ultrasound attenuation of right calcaneus. The data were analyzed by SPSS l0.0 to perform the data test. The compared data of the BMD were examined by the paired t-test ( p<0.05).
The results showed a significant increase in BMD after 12 weeks aerobic exercise program intervention. Also, the data showed that regular exercise strengthened the BMD, decreased the loss rate of BMD and prevented BMD loss furnther in the middle aged to older people. In addition, the data showed that there was an important significance in the area of primary osteoporosis treatment.
The results can provide a useful guide for community health professionals to design related hea1th promotion plans in the middle age people in the community. From the study, it is hoped that BMD can be promoted effectively through regular exercise, thereby decreasing the incidence of fractures and promoting the quality of life in elderly people.
