本研究的目的在探討本校專科部(二專、五專)學生在國文及英文二科之學習態度及其學業成績之相關因素比較分析,期望能以此作為教師改進教學的依據,進而提昇學生學習興趣與成就。研究者將學習態度分為學習慾望、學習方法、主動學習、作業態度、學習過程、考試準備及教學評量等七個層面,研擬問卷並進行調查,藉以達到以下目的:1.探討本校專科學生在國文及英文科學習態度之差異;2.探討本校專科學生語文科學習態度與學業成績之相關;3.探討不同性別、學制、入學身分的學生在語文科學習態度與學業成績之差異。結果顯現:1.學生在學習慾望及對教師教學評價,都有積極與肯定的態度。而在準備考試及作業態度方面則略顯為被動缺乏獨立性。2.不同性別、入學身分與學制對英文的學習態度有顯著差異;僅有不同學制的專科學生對於國文學習態度會有顯著的差異。3.學生在語文科的學習態度對語文科學業成績有顯著的影響,也就是說語文科的學習態度愈好者,其語文科學業成績也就會愈好。最後,本研究亦根據研究之發現,分別對專科國文、英文教師及後續研究者提出建議。 The purpose of this study is to find out correlation between the learning attitudes toward Chinese and English learning for the junior college students of Ching Kuo Institute of Management and Health. The findings of this survey will be taken into consideration for improvement of Chinese and English teaching method in this institution in future. The learning attitudes are divided into seven categories which are learning desire, learning method, learning process, prepare for examination, the attitude for teacher, attitude for assignment, self-learning attitude. The major findings of this study are as follows: 1.Overall, students performed fairly well in learning desire and the attitude for teacher but performed not well in prepare for examination and attitude for assignment. 2.In different sexes, statuses and grades, the variance of learning attitudes in English is significant. Only in different statuses and grades the variance of learning attitudes in Chinese is significant.3.The variance of language learning attitudes and their learning achievement is significant. Finally, we also make some suggestions for teachers in junior college and for future researchers.
