| Abstract: | 民國八十一年，台灣立法通過「公共藝術相關法規」時，筆者深覺這是政府公部門正視現代都市公共藝術發展的初步成就，將對民間社會及藝術家帶來深遠的影響。於是，近幾年筆者收集報章資訊時，累積了一些「公共藝術」的資訊，加上現今公共藝術處於過渡時期，筆者深深體會有必要提出「公共藝術法規」來討論它存在的意義與應用。
In 1992 the relative laws about Public Art were passed by the legislature in Taiwan, which was an initial achievement of the government's effort to develop Public Art in modern cities. This event will profoundly
affect the society of Taiwan in the establishment of Public Art and in the beautification of environment. Because of the increasing importance of Public Art nowadays, it is necessary to research and to talk about the laws of Public Art, including their meanings and application. |
