More and more health information is circulating on the Internet. Many people use the Internet to obtain information related to health and wellness, and they pay more attention to physical health. Health literacy and healthy behaviors have always been considered important factors in promoting people's health. Correct access to correct information through the Internet and healthy behaviors such as correct diet, regular exercise and adequate sleep. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore and understand the problems and confusions of cosmeceutical personnel regarding Internet health literacy and health behaviors, and to improve the health level and Internet health literacy of cosmeceutical personnel, thereby improving the productivity and work efficiency of cosmeceutical personnel. Promote the sustainable development of enterprises.
This study takes the cosmeceutical personnel of Taiwan Watson Company's stores in the four districts of the province as the main research subjects, and uses purposive sampling to distribute questionnaires. The questionnaire distribution period is from February 1 to February 28, 2024. 466 questionnaires were officially distributed, and they were valid. There were 466 questionnaires, 0 invalid questionnaires, and the recovery rate of valid questionnaires was 100%.
The research results show that the highest level of online health literacy among respondents in this study is "I think current online information must be carefully confirmed to avoid being deceived." This indicates that the respondents are aware that online fraud has become a global problem. , affecting the lives and property safety of many people. In the health behavior section, "I go to bed after 12 p.m. every day" is the most common, which means that when working in a store, the cosmeceutical staff need to cooperate with the store's closing time, and their rest time is relatively delayed when they return home, resulting in the situation of going to bed late. Through inferential statistics including independent sample t-test and single-factor analysis of variance, this study also found that different genders showed significant differences in online health literacy and health behaviors for women compared with men. In addition, respondents of different ages and average monthly incomes showed significant differences in the online health literacy part. Respondents over 51 years old were larger than those between 20 and 30 years old, while those with a monthly income of 45,001 yuan to 55,000 yuan or more Respondents were larger than those with a monthly income of 25,001 yuan to 35,000 yuan, indicating that middle-aged and elderly people and those with higher monthly incomes are willing to invest more resources and time in seeking health information to improve their online health literacy. Finally, it is recommended that subsequent researchers can add factors other than the content of the research variables to the different research methods to make the research scope more in-depth and broader.
