摘要: 藉由心率變異性分析儀,已能將五分鐘的心電訊號解析成自律神經指標,利用心率變異性分析方法,判斷自律神經狀態已為醫學界證實可行,敏感度甚至超過傳統偵測自律神經的方法。由於菸草中之尼古丁的成分會影響人體的自律神經,因此本研究擬藉由心率變異性分析來瞭解吸菸後對自律神經的立即影響。
本研究擬藉由大專學生吸菸前後心率變異性變化情形,判斷自律神經系統的立即反應,並探討尼古丁依賴程度、身體質量指數、血壓等因素,對吸菸後自律神經系統受影響程度之關聯性,期能做為戒菸宣導及制訂對策之參考。
依本研究結果,研究對象吸菸後之總功率 (TP) 、低頻功率 (LF) 、高頻功率 (HF) 均顯著 (p<0.05) 低於吸菸前,意即吸菸後整體自主神經活性、副交感神經活性均顯著下降;尤其具有下列情形者:尼古丁依賴程度較低、身體質量指數較低、血壓較高之研究對象,吸菸後之心率變異性指標受影響程度相對較大。
A vast number of studies have demonstrated that heart rate variability (HRV) analysis can transform a 5-minute electrocardiogram (ECG) recording into indicators of the autonomic nervous system (ANS), and is proven effective and even more sensitive to diagnose the status of the ANS. Considering the nicotine contained in tobacco affects the ANS of human being, this study was designed to characterize the immediate effects of cigarette smoking on ANS by HRV analysis.
This study was conducted to measure and compare the HRV of college students before and after smoking to diagnose the immediate effects on their ANS, and to discuss the relations between the HRV and nicotine dependence, body mass index, and blood pressure. Besides, smoking cessation promotions and policies could also refer to the results of this study.
According to the result of this study, the total power, low frequency, high frequency of college students after smoking a cigarette were significantly lower compared to those before smoking. It meant the ANS activities and parasympathetic nervous system activities were reduced after smoking. Besides, the HRV of those with lower nicotine dependence, lower body mass index, or higher blood pressure will differ more significantly after smoking.
