The aims of the case study are to explore and improve the phobia to egg meal for an aged five kindergartener through an action process. Besides explore what was origin of the phobia, behavioral modification techniques were applied to and participants were invited to this action for the behavioral change of the case. The records of researcher’s observation and reflex around the action situation are the context for analysis.
We found the case’s phobia to egg meal fading away gradually through the action process, and indeed improved finally. And, five dimentions contribute to improve the case’s phobia to egg meal, the “five’s” are 1.)systemic desensitization and generalization 2.)learning fitness 3.)teacher’s accept, listening and encouragement 4.)parent’s collaboration 5.)peer’s dynamics.
Furthermore, this study suggests: 1.)it’s necessary to explore and root out the causes about finichy eating 2.) it’s harmful to be compelled to eat some food what a child is fearful.
